- Channel Information: We read your YouTube channel name and basic profile information to display connection status in your dashboard
- Upload Capability: We use the YouTube upload API to publish videos to your YouTube channel as Shorts when you choose to share content through our platform

- To verify successful connection of your YouTube account
- To upload videos you explicitly choose to share to YouTube
- To set video metadata (title, description, privacy settings) as you specify
- To display your connected YouTube channel information in the ShareMyPosts dashboard
YouTube Data Retention
We store YouTube OAuth tokens securely to maintain your connection and enable video uploads. We retain this data only as long as you keep your YouTube account connected to ShareMyPosts. When you disconnect YouTube or delete your ShareMyPosts account, we immediately delete all stored YouTube authentication data and tokens.
Revoking YouTube Access
You can revoke ShareMyPosts' access to your YouTube account at any time by:
- Clicking "Disconnect" on the YouTube connection card in your ShareMyPosts dashboard, or
- Visiting the Google Account Permissions page and removing ShareMyPosts
Upon revocation, we will delete all YouTube-related data associated with your account within 7 days.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Limited Use Disclosure: ShareMyPosts' use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
